These elastic bands are strong. They have a good stretch to them and do not pull my hair out. There are so many in this bag I don’t think I will ever in a lifetime use them all! I love how they don't rip my hair out too much and they feel like they are gentle when they are in my hair which I like because my hair is thinning due to chemical damage! so I love these! I would highly recommend these hair bands!I've bought three or four bunches of these for my long ponytail. I love the thickness and color. I have had minor tangling issues but the thick surface makes it easy to undo. They last two or three uses each before they are stretched too much to want to use. "I leave em in two or three days at a time only taking em out to brush" I would recommend and will buy more. Wish they had a better blue color!I've purchased about 200 of these pony tail holders for use in making face masks (for over the ears) which I donate to healthcare personnel and sell. They stretch enough but do not lose their elasticity over multiple wearings and washings. I've purchased different colors and they are all consistently well made. At one point My Lello bands were unavailable and I purchased similar products which did not compare in quality. This is a good product, good value.
