I bought this in 2019 and I’m not even half way through the bag….these things have literally lasted me 3 years and counting. Talk about a steal. I use them for certain hair styles and given that my hair is decently thick, the durability is as expected. They’re microscopic circles of rubber so obviously they’re going to break to a certain point, but as long as you don’t over stretch them you’re solid. If I’m afraid a large chunk of hair will snap it I just apply two and I’m golden. 10/10 for valueI love these! I took a chance on buying rubber bands online because I needed them for a hairstyle and I liked the value of getting 1000 for not a lot of money. I was concerned that they would be those cheap plastic "rubber" bands that would snap super easy. I'm glad I took a chance on them because they have a lot of stretch, they held up amazingly for what I needed and it's been months later and I still have a ton. I don't think I need to buy rubber bands for at least a year. Totally recommend.I purchased these little rubber bands for ending off braids and for my toddler's hair. They do the job. I always double up on them though. They pop easily if I only use one. But I do this for any of this kind of rubber. This isn't the super stretchy kind of hair rubber, they're more the rubbery ones, lol.Despite some reviews that complained about this or that, I needed a small rubber band for an art project and these were perfect. Yet even though they were perfect for my project, I had to add that they are very well made and strong and stretch to five or ten times their original length without breaking or snapping. I don't have long hair so I don't know how they'd feel in your hair but they are super strong and in my opinion would work great for a hair tie. They might snag though because they're not smooth but sort of sticky like a rubber band would be, but as a hair tie they'd be just like a rubber band. I'm babbling.They pop pretty quickly even when I use two for each strand of hair.Great , but does break if you have think hair some times I have to use two on my daughters hair.These elastics are PERFECT for hair braiding/braiders! I braid my BF’s beautiful long Native hair quite often and these hold onto his hair for DAYSSSS! You get what you pay for & they come in the perfect ziplock bag! :)Don’t buy these. They break ever time we try to use them. Terrible qualityThe trouble I have searching for these bands is that I can never find them strong enough to work in Afro/relaxed hair. Finally, after many trials and errors I’ve found ones that work. I use them on my daughters hair and they work perfectly. Would recommend. Excellent value for money.Best rubber bands have come across so far I normally buy the 99p one from my local hair shop but they snap very easily these ones I’ve only had one incident of snapping. I am a mother of three girls so I get through a lot of rubber bands daily so I really needed a big amount at once is save me a lot of money and a lot of time because I don’t have to keep re-doing it because they pop in.I’ve been doing my hairstyle for about 3 years now and have thick, course, natural Afro hair. It took me a while to chose these hair bands because I was unsure if they would be of quality. I am very happy I chose them.My last pack, brought from a local hair shop, was awful! And ended up breaking even when not touching them. I would wake up with bands covering my bed and would pick out broken bands from my hair. This product is no comparison to my bad experience.I can use these bands as I always have, on individual extensions of my hair. I double them over before applying and wrapping four times on each strand of crouched braid. It doesn’t break at all!!!They’re very strong and a good size, not too big and not too small. It comes in a plastic resealable bag with clear on one side (so you can see what’s in it) and white on the other. You probably could use them twice, but there are enough in the packet to use just once. When I’m ready, I will cut them out, wash my hair and redo my hairstyle. I probably reduce my hair once a month, they last that long. And I’ve washed my hair with the extensions in, with the bands, and they still last.These are defiantly suitable for children’s hair as well, providing the quality doesn’t change. I would recommend to anyone without hesitation, and definitely would buy again.Having purchased these previously, I thought I knew what I’d be getting. Unfortunately not. Every single band I used snapped. They even snapped by themselves whilst in my hair. These bands are not fit for purpose and a rip-off given the price. I’m returning and will never buy again.These are brill, I use them to cornrow my girls hair the hold well without snapping and then I find it easy to take them out (I snap them then unravel) I’ve been using them for months and still have loads left
